ExamBridge Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 July 2026

ExamBridge is a bilingual (English / Tamil) exam-preparation app for students in Grades 9 to 12, covering the Tamil Nadu State Board and CBSE. It is made and run by DigitalGrub, reachable at connect@digitalgrub.ws.

The short version

The app can be used as a guest, or with an optional student account so progress and flashcard schedules can be saved. We show no ads, run no analytics, and do not sell personal data.

What we collect

Guest mode. No account is required to use the study content.
Optional account. If you sign up, we collect a phone number, name if provided, class, board, password hash, saved progress, and flashcard review schedule. We never store the plain password.
Server logs. Like every web server, ours keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, and what was requested), used only to keep the service running and to find problems, never to identify or profile anyone.
On your device. The app stores a login token when you sign in, or a guest-mode flag when you continue as guest.

What we do not do

No ads. No third-party analytics, trackers, or outside SDKs. No selling or sharing of personal data. No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.

Children

Many of our users are children. Accounts are optional, and we collect the minimum needed to save study progress. Parents and guardians with any question or concern can write to connect@digitalgrub.ws.

Changes

If we add phone OTP, payments, analytics, or other data collection, we will update this policy and the app store data disclosures before that feature ships.
